USB Digital Potentiometer

UsbPot device

The UsbPot device is a USB controlled Digital Potentiometer, based on the Analog Devices AD5292 IC. The UsbPot can be supplied either boxed or unboxed for easy system integration. Eclectric provides a Windows GUI software application, freely available to download from the Software page. Direct communication with the UsbPot device is also possible via the command line or a virtual terminal using a serial port connection on Windows and Linux.

Main features of the AD5292 digital potentiometer include:

• Single-channel, 1024-position resolution
• 20 kΩ, (50 kΩ, and 100 kΩ optonal) nominal resistance
• Maximum ±1% nominal resistor tolerance error
• 20-times programmable wiper memory
• Rheostat mode temperature coefficient: 35 ppm/°C
• Voltage divider temperature coefficient: 5 ppm/°C
